Apogee was awarded this task order under an IDIQ contract. Our survey team performed tours, interviews, inspections, and research at 10 VA medical centers in the agency’s VISN Four region with the purpose of updating facility condition assessments (FCA).

The FCA includes the technical and physical aspects of each site and building systems and subsystems at each facility. Systems are evaluated, described, and graded from “A” to “F.”

Estimated costs are included for deficiencies graded “D” or “F,” and correction costs are included for each system or subsystem regardless of condition. The VA uses the information in their Capital Asset Inventory (CAI) database to plan, justify, and fund projects to correct deficiencies.
