This project involved upgrading the Milwaukee VA Medical Center overhead paging system to ensure adequate paging coverage of the existing systems. The new system will also tie into the existing Johnson Control emergency blue light/phone system. The existing building paging systems will be brought up to current standards by adding speakers to cover areas which do not have adequate or working speaker coverage. To reduce waste, existing overhead paging equipment was reused as possible and new equipment was provided as needed.

The existing system will be upgraded to improve zoning of the paging system to allow paging to occur by building and by floor. Design includes new paging amplifiers and control equipment to extend system control and coverage to other buildings through the existing OIT infrastructure.

The Public Address Mass Notification system was upgraded from the existing paging system to cover 12 additional buildings.
