All main domestic hot water supply and return piping from the basement area mechanical room to the risers in several areas and in the main piping corridors of the basement up to the fifth floor will be removed and replaced along with all domestic hot water PRV stations.

The entire domestic water return system will be rebalanced to ensure proper temperatures are maintained in the piping system per VA Directive 1061. Thermostatically controlled hot water return flow valves are being used.

All work is phased to minimize the impact on VA operations.
