Apogee was Prime contractor to design a new facility for the Dorn VA Medical Center Mental Health Department in Columbia. The project provides a range of services to include: Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Center (PRRC), Substance Use Treatment Program (SATP), and Mental Health Intensive Care Management Program (MHICM).

The expanded services and counseling space is necessary due to the increase in mental health referrals. This spans across programs of care as well as referrals from other Mental Health facilities. The project investigation evaluated the MH-PACT model. It also established it in the Mental Health Intensive Care Management Program (MHICM); for efficient patient care, operations and support.
