King Choy RA, NCARB, SEPS, LEED Green Associate

King Choy is the Architectural Department Manager, overseeing a team of Architects and designers. He also works closely with the office and engineering leaders within the company as well as outside consultants to ensure better quality, smoother processes, and collaborative cross-disciplinary communication. 

While obtaining his undergraduate degree in architecture at NCSU, King worked as a superintendent assistant with a construction company on various building construction types to obtain his field experience as well as developing his construction administrative and people skillset.  With his early field experience, King was able to accelerate apply the skillset and ability of developing better design concept, attention to details, and services with many repeated clients. After graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture professional degree from NCSU, King continued enhancing his design skillset by exploring different project types including healthcare facilities.   He has developed a passion and interest in the healthcare design and continues to further develop his expertise in this area to better serve his clients and the communities throughout the country. 

His experience includes managing, mentoring, marketing, research, programming, cost estimating, design, and construction administration on projects ranging from light commercial renovation to large veterinary school/hospital additions and multi-purpose high rise office/retail buildings. He has a passion for healthcare architecture and specializes in hospital and clinical buildings.

His passion to promote growth extends beyond the office. In his free time, he enjoys growing Bonsai trees and spending quality time with his family.
